async channel mode

Hi all,

A couple of questions:

1. Is there a way to make sftp_... functions (e.g. sftp_chmod) work in 
async mode? If not yet, how long do you think it would take?

2. Is there a way to write to the channel in non-blocking mode? 
Currently ssh_channel_write() says it's blocking...
